Aus Südkalifornien kommt Michael Shermer bei seiner Europa-Tournee auch beim DA! vorbei und stellt sein neues Buch vor: „The moral Arc – How science and reason lead humanity towards truth, justice and freedom.“ Der Wissenschafts-Journalist ist Gründer der weltweiten Skeptiker-Bewegung und des „Skeptic Magazine“. Er hat sich als Kritiker des Kreationismus sowie der Holocaustleugnung einen Namen gemacht. In der „Scientific American“, der US-Ausgabe von „Spektrum der Wissenschaft“ schreibt er die monatliche Kolumne: „Skeptic“.
